Transforming life’s moments into enduring masterpieces.

Our philosophy

At Featherstones, we are committed to preserving meaningful life stories through the art of jewellery design, creating personal pieces you can cherish for generations. By upcycling existing pieces and drawing inspiration from the moments they've witnessed, we can craft new treasures. Our designs are elegant yet powerful, seamlessly blending nostalgia with a modern spirit—a perfect reflection of life's beauty. Featherstones invites you to share and cherish your own stories, preserving memories for years.

The designer

Alice Welsh is a British fine jeweller, designer and alumna of Birmingham School of Jewellery (BA Hons Contemporary Jewellery and Silversmithing). She honed her craft in London's renowned Hatton Garden, apprenticing under a diamond mounter to master optical micro-setting. Alice designed for Bond Street and global dignitaries before transitioning to the idyllic English countryside to unveil her own brand — Featherstones Jewellery.

Sustainable & ethical

Nature is our inspiration and sustainability is our ethos. We are committed to shaping a fairer industry landscape where we embrace ethical practices and sustainable materials.

Featherstones celebrates lab-grown diamonds as a kinder alternative to traditional mined diamonds. These stunning gems, a result of extensive research, eliminate ethical concerns related to labour practices.

Our commitment to transparency means any natural sourced diamonds are individually registered with provenance information. We track the journey of our diamonds from the moment they’re unearthed to ensure responsible practices.

Moreover, our designers recycle precious metals and gems through our upgrade procedures,  to contribute to a circular economy and minimise energy consumption. We treat found treasures with the kindness they deserve, and breathe new life into jewellery so it can be cherished for years to come.
