Lead times

Bespoke jewellery orders have a minimum lead time of 3 weeks and often longer, depending on the complexity of the desired piece and the current service demand. Featherstones Jewellery will give a more detailed estimate of completion time following initial consultations. Consultations can be arranged by filling in our contact form on our Bespoke Services page or the Book an Appointment page. All bespoke work conducted by Featherstones Jewellery requires a non-refundable deposit of 70% of the total agreed cost before crafting. Upon completion of a final consultation and payment of this deposit crafting of the bespoke item will begin.

Refunds, warranties, and returns

All purchases made through Featherstones Jewellery are final and we do not offer refunds. However, if the item breaks due to a flaw in its construction, Featherstones Jewellery will repair the item free of charge within 3 months of the original purchase. This does not include accidental damage, including any damage caused by yourself or others. Featherstones Jewellery does not offer warranties for general wear and tear or damage from improper use or storage.

Upcycling

Featherstones Jewellery is proud to offer ‘Upcycling’ services, wherein older jewellery pieces can be recycled to make new pieces (often of a different design). It must be noted that this will, of necessity, result in the destruction of the older piece, which can often be sentimental. By agreeing to the upcycling purchase, you are acknowledging this. It is also possible that stones may chip or crack upon extraction and/or re-setting. Whilst all care will be taken to preserve the stones, Featherstones Jewellery cannot accept liability for damages caused through the upcycling process.
